Love Porsche designs. And every new model/update only extends that passion. Many may say leave the Boxster for the ladies, but those many surely have not driven one. The feeling of driving a mid-engined, low center of gravity, open top sports car can not be bettered.

BMW have finally joined the 4-door coupe segment with their all new BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe. I say ‘meh’, looks a lot like a regular 4-do0r compared to the original Mercedes CLS or the exotic looking Audi A7. I just don’t think it’s ‘Coupe’ enough. Let’s see if BMW’s ‘M’ division can spruce things up a bit…

“The future is now” quite literally in the Audi A3 e-tron. This coming year will be the year of the electrics and Audi is certainly not one to be on the side lines. While Audi has dominated in motorsports with their diesel R-series prototypes, it’s good to see an all electric in the Audi line-up.

The Danes have somehow pulled a rabbit out of their magical hat. The lines on this beast are nothing short of spectacular. If you scrutinize close enough, you will see some fitment issues, particularly around the front bumper area. Perhaps an engineer got too aggressive on the twisties. As a brand new automobile manufacturer, I’ll certainly give them the benefit of the doubt.

No, we’re not talking about a scoreboard, the Volkswagen Up! is a replacement for the Fox that may be coming to the states. This little Fiat 500 and Smart ForTwo competitor could be the next little city car you see running around. Currently in Europe, it has VW’s 3 cylinder 1-liter engine. Good for the streets of Europe, but it is said that if it came to the states, that puny engine would be turbo’d to a nice clean 100hp engine.

When it comes to looks, this is one of the better city cars I have seen.  Clean lines, nice paint matching wheels and a futuristic rear makes for a tight little package; Although, the inside is where this car really shines. I am loving an all white dash. Something we normally see in concept cars, VW had the balls to take it to production. The rest of the interior has only the necessities, but in a small budget car that’s all you need.

The new Volkwagen Up! will bring a little competition for other subcompacts that are coming to the market. Even though coming to the U.S. is still a “maybe”, rumours of a power upgrade give the “maybe” a little more weight. Now the question is who plans to slam a Volkswagen Up! like this Fiat 500?
