Got a Porsche 997 GT3? Tired of looking like all the other GT3’s? Well, Prior Design to the rescue. This is an extremely clean kit and very factory looking. Based on the normally aspirated high-revving Porsche 911 GT3 and available in either carbon-flex fiberglass or carbon fiber, the kit is sexy.
This is actually the first time I’ve heard of Prior Design and by the looks of it will give Tech Art’s aero a run for their money. Based 0ut of Germany, they also do styling kits for BMW, Audi and Lamborghini just to name a few. Check out their website, it’s well worth the eye candy. http://www.prior-design.de
oooh, ahhh… The Porsche 911 Sport Classic. This is what happens when Porsche designers go retro. With only 250 units made and all of them being sold, here in the U.S., we are pretty much out of gas. Ok tuners, get to work!
We love Porsches, we love 911s, we love Clash videos… enough said.

Finally, and in person, the Porsche Panamera S and Panamera AWD Turbo! All I’ve got to say is what a phenomenal job the designers at Porsche have done to create a 4-door Porsche. This is what happens when a 911 and a cayenne get together. No walk of shame in the wee hours of the morning here. This is for the long-term marriage made-in-heaven relationship. Who would have ever thought?

There are many out there grumbling over the authenticity of a 4-door sports car from Porsche; However, I will totally disagree. With a 4.8 V8 on boost and all wheel drive, a sprint to 60 in 4 seconds and a claimed top speed of 188mph, this is a beastly 4-door. Wait until the world’s tuners get their hands on this platform. Tech Art? 9FF? Anyone?

Again, a special thanks goes out to The Collection for putting on yet again another epic unveiling…
Congratulations goes out to USP Motorsports for running a 202.7 standing mile at this past weekend’s MileMarker-1 event.
Claiming to be “the first and only to run over 200mph in the standing mile on a stock Porsche 996 motor” is very much a grand accomplishment. I was standing just a few feet from the runway when the USP Porsche 911 Turbo flew by, literally. With a ‘feels like’ 102 degree heat (my car said it was 95 degrees but I beg to differ), it was a pretty amazing run considering the intercoolers were probably working overtime to supply enough cold air to get the horsepower to propel the 911 Turbo to over 200mph!! It was truly an exhilarating experience.
Good job USP…
Well, I’m certainly not going to say it was not hot out there; However, I will say that every month I yearn for that 4th Sunday of the month when a group of Euro enthusiasts come out to enjoy the camaraderie EuroSunday Miami brings. This month was no exception. Vintage is how I would categorize this outing. Not exactly the Bordeaux 1787 Chateau Lafite caliber, however, there were some exceptionally clean variants of ’70s and ’80s Euros showing off their lines. From a 1973 Porsche 911t (t for Targa) to the brand new VW R32 MkV, every decade was represented.
Yes, the summer heat, the summer doldrums, or the back to school hoopla may have kept many of you Euro guys/gals at home, but the few die hard loyalist who show up time and time again are what keeps my admiration of the Euro community so high. Where else do you have the pleasure of getting up close and personal with these mechanical beauties of the past, present, and future and to converse with the owners who meticulously care for these engineering masterpieces?
Just a quick note, next EuroSunday will be moving to a new location. Be sure to sign-up to receive your invite and get the details for September at Eurosunday.net.
