Get a life. Buy my Porsche.

There is only so much you can do to sell a used car. You can write a super detailed description, You can include terms like “ice cold A/C” and “like new!”, and you can put up some pictures and even a video. Well it wasn’t up until now that a UK short filmmaker went that extra mile and produced a short film to sell his Porsche. Really the ad tells you nothing about the car except it runs, but that doesn’t matter. The ad is so creative you can’t help but want to buy the guy’s Porsche. Go to the auto trader page for the 1885 911 Carrera Targa. That same charm from the video can also be found in the description of his German auto. If you live in the UK, the guy is asking only 10,911 pounds; So, someone go reward him for his ridiculous level creativity.

Sound Night at the Porsche Museum

How a car sounds is just as important to many as how it looks, handles, or accelerates. Porsche has recognized this, and decided to celebrate the sounds of their engines with “Sound Night” at the Porsche Museum. It’s exactly what I’m sure most of you are thinking; They roll in ten of their most influential production and race cars in the automotive industry and rev the engine for a live audience to hear. Sound Night at the Porsche Museum looks sounds like an amazing evening audio journey through the history of Porsche.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 First Video

(Source: Autoblog)

The pictures were leaked of the newest Porsche 911 GT3 RS last week, and now a video has been posted by Porsche which shows off all of the 4.0′s amazing features. A top track day car that can be driven on the street, this new GT3 has a 4.0-liter flat-six boasting 500 horsepower. That combined with even more weight reduction compared to the previous GT3 RS means it weighs only 2,998 pounds and can race around the Nurburgring in 7 minutes 27 seconds. If you want this type of track day bliss you will have to pay quite a price; $185,000 to be exact, but that will put you in an exclusive club of only 600. On a slighly sad note, this 4.0 version will be the last 911 GT3 RS before Porsche moves on to a new GT project, but hey you can’t complain about a new Porsche.

Le Mans Pace Car Makes Mistake

This past weekend during the first race of the 2011 Le Mans Series at Le Castellet in France, the pace car made a huge mistake. The driver of the Audi S5 pace car never pulled into the pit. The result when the light hit green was the front group accelerated then hit the breaks causing a ripple effect that created a pileup of GT2 Porsches. An event, that I’m sure was embarrassing to the safety car driver, caused many teams to be effectively out of the race before it even really started including a few top contenders.
