Format67 productions are simply inspiration. Everything they produce is of utmost paramount quality and it is the attention to detail that makes all their projects stick out from the sea of mediocrity. The epic themed “Mechanical Synfonica” again delivers and I’ve watched it over and over again taking notes along the way. This is a production to aspire too and we certainly can’t wait to see their next release. If you too are an aspiring visual artist, I highly recommend you order their DVD (It’s available as a digital download as well!)

It’s funny how things just pop up on Facebook from time to time and you have no idea how they got there. A friend of a friend happened to like this kid’s new professional page Mike K Media and to my surprise it had a sick video of a  matte black BMW 328. I dug a little deeper and found this guy has a whole collection of cool videos from cars to bmx biking. Mike K is a filmmaker to watch, and I see him doing big things. H2O International is now behind us and all we have to say is BRAVO!

Another great event that no one on the East Coast should miss. It has become the pilgrimage of a typhoon of VW’s, Audi’s, BMW’s, Mercedes’s, Honda’s, Mazda’s, Subaru’s, Volvo’s?… my point being, the city of Ocean City, MD is taken by storm. Everywhere you look, in every hotel parking lot, every restaurant, in every nook and cranny, you will find some derivative of a slammed, wheeled up, crazy painted, cambered out, stretched, poked, bagged, coiled, stickered, HID’d vehicle. You have to see it to believe it. And we’re not talking about a few blocks; No, we are talking about a 10 mile stretch of pavement littered with the hustle & bustle of pieces of artwork shuttling back and forth stopping for the occasional spur of the moment, this empty parking lot will suffice, GTG (GetToGether for the newbs;)

Definitely, definitely mark your calendars for this event next year…

Active Autowerke’s second high quality showcase video “Another Shade of M” shows off two beautiful project E92 M3′s, one sporting some eye-popping lime green. This joint project combines top products in the industry to achieve perfection. The paint and body-work was done by Martino Auto Concepts, the wheels are from ADV.1, and the rest was all Active’s doing. The attention to detail on these cars is second to none. Every part of the car color matches properly down to the green carbon fiber weave. While no official numbers have been released, I’m sure these M3′s have power to match their style. The video is outstanding, artfully edited to showcase every aspect of the two M3′s while keeping it exciting and fresh. “Another Shade of M” is another stroke of brilliance in euro-auto film.
